CareersA degree from the Graduate School of Library and Information Science (GSLIS) means excellence. As the top-ranked school of library and information science in the country since 1999, as reported by U.S. News and World Report, GSLIS prepares students and alumni to face the challenges and demonstrate the leadership and creativity our information-driven world demands of them. At GSLIS, we take great pride in our graduates and enjoy providing a level of career assistance that results in success and satisfaction. Our web site offers a collective group of resources and services to assist our students and alumni with job placement and career development; it also serves to introduce and familiarize organizations to our exceptional community of leaders. Within these pages, students and alumni can peruse postings for jobs and assistantships, receive assistance with writing resumes and cover letters, Explore Careers, and stay connected with alumni for mentorship and career development. Employers are encouraged to post internship and job opportunities via the Career Central Job Board, review resumes, and learn how they can host students for practica, internships, and/or Alternative Spring Break opportunities. If you have suggestions for how GSLIS can better serve students and alumni in developing their careers, please contact: Rae-Anne Montague, Assistant Dean
